Once again it is open season on my healing binaural and isochronic beats videos. YouTube has allowed the following companies to make false claims on content I created and own: The Orchard Music, DigDis, finetunes, Kontor New Media, Dance all Day.
Headaches and Pain (Delta range binural & isochronic beats, meditation for healing) - Karmic BeatsI am the sole creator of this video and no other work was used. I created the binaural and isochronic beats with Gnaural
The audio consists of:
Binaural beat - 0.5Hz beat. 111Hz base.
Isochronic pulse 0.5Hz beat. 111Hz base.
What are they going to do next claim copyright on drum beats? How about bird songs?
The YouTube content ID system is a joke. It is completely broken and there are widespread reports of abuse by greedy corporations. There are a lot of horror stories about some of the companies that are presently making false claims against my videos.
I am glad that so far in the past, all false claims of copyright have been rescinded. So far no company has tried to claim ownership after reviewing the video. So the false claims so far has been YouTube's broken content ID system.
I have disputed all the claims and only time will tell if these companies are going to do the right thing or the criminal thing.
May 21, 2012 UPDATE: DigDis and finetunes cancel their claims. Dance All Day reviews and may have reinstated claim of copyright on simple beats.
Kontor New Media has failed to respond.
Dance All Day sent me an email saying the had canceled their claim. The email was followed by an email from YouTube claiming Dance All Day had reviewed and reinstated their claim. YouTube has removed all information regarding Dance All Day's claim from my copyright notice page. I have emailed Dance All Day and I am awaiting clarification.
May 21, 2012 UPDATE: Daredo_GmbH makes false claim
Daredo_GmbH has joined in the attack on my content. I have disputed their false claim.
May 21, 2012 UPDATE: Daredo_GmbH releases false claim
This leaves Kontor New Media and The Orchard Music still making false claims against my content. I am assuming that since YouTube has removed all mention of Dance All Day's claim from my copyright notice page, that their claim has been released.
May 21, 2012 UPDATE: The Orchard Music releases false claim. systemrecordings makes a false claim
The Orchard Music has done the right thing and released its false claim of owning copyright on simple beats.
systemrecordings has now made a false claim. The video was posted on May 19, 2012. Is there no time limit with YouTube's content ID system? There should be a time limit after which no claim can be made through YouTube's content ID system.
June 02, 2012 UPDATE: systemrecordings releases false claim.
On May 24, 2012 systemrecordings released their false copyright claim. I apologize for my late posting. I was unexpectedly away from my computer for a week or so.
Kontor New Media still steadfastly refuses to review their false claim to own copyright on simple beats.
So far with this video Headaches and Pain (Delta range binural & isochronic beats, meditation for healing) - Karmic Beats. The false claims have been from YouTube's content ID system and upon review the companies have released their claims. (Of course this could change if Kontor New Media decides to do the stupid thing by reviewing and then continuing to claim copyright on simple beats.)
Speaking of stupidity Time S.p.A. Armada Music has reviewed their false claim of ownership of copyright on simple beats and stands by it. Time S.p.A. Armada Music now claims to own copyright of simple beats. (This is with respect to a different video Back Pain & Headaches (Binaural & Isochronic beats. Delta 0.5 & 2.5Hz, Solfeggio 528Hz, OM 136.1Hz))
This is not a false positive of YouTube's content ID system. Time S.p.A. Armada Music reviewed the content ID match by YouTube's system. At first they released the claim and then in what appears to be a strategic maneuver, they secretly reinstated their claim.
Not only has Time S.p.A. Armada Music with the assistance of YouTube committed a criminal act, they have claimed copyright over all simple beats. This means that Time S.p.A. Armada Music is effectively claiming copyright to ALL music that uses a beat. Read more in this blog post: Time S.p.A. Armada Music attempts to claim copyright on simple beats. It is like claiming copyright on bird songs.
June 18, 2012 UPDATE: Kontor New Media releases false claim.
It looks like Headaches and Pain (Delta range binural & isochronic beats, meditation for healing) - Karmic Beats is now free of all illicit copyright claims. I hope that is the end of it.
Time S.p.A. continues their robbery:
